Shinfield Rangers FC

We started back in 2018 as part of a local Berks and Bucks FA project, called Bobicats, which we won several awards for in 2019. In 2023/24 the FA decided to make SEND football a national priority and invited us to consult, and to be a base for recording their “Comets” coach training sessions and marketing materials. When it was finally launched, we moved over to the national Comets scheme for 5-11’s. About a year later, when the FA set up Disability Rec sessions for the older children, we switched over to that also. But by then the name Bobicats had become such an established part of Shinfield Rangers that we decided to keep using it as an overall name to describe our SEND sessions.
